36,000 miles

imageI took this picture of my odometer yesterday when I got in my truck and noticed it was at exactly 36000.0 miles. Makes me feel good about the extended 3-years or 36,000 miles of warranty I purchased. It sounds like I may have to use it for the transmission very soon. I have some kind of metallic rattle going on when the truck’s idling.

imageI found some images on my Stylus 300 from back in Feb. including the little spread Amy set out for me on Valentines day. She even cooked! The poor Stylus is getting on it’s last leg but I don’t want to buy another digital camera until I can get a digital SLR.

36,000 huh. I just hit the 75,000 mile mark on Sat coming back from the zoo. Isn’t it weird that only guys pay attention to stuff like this?

Ya, I did the math and I put 1455 miles on this truck the first month I had it. But that included the 570+ miles to Charleston and back. Amy probably couldn’t even give me a good guess of the number of miles on her car. 10,000 – or mabey 60,000??? Who cares. Warrenty’s gone anyway.

HA!HA! Very funny. I don’t think I’ve put 10,000 miles on my car yet. I’m sure I will be there soon. Since I have been staying at home with Connor, I hardly put any miles on the car. Usually, we go to the mall, which is about 5 minutes from the house. Although lately, I have been venturing to places such as Pullen Park and Cameron Village. I will have to say that is a good drive. I’m trying not to go to places like that too often.
