Review this: DHGate.com facilitates chinese theft.

DHGate is pretending to be the Ailibaba of China.  What they  really are is a marketplace for counterfeit goods and facilitated Chinese theft.  So many skewed, pretend reviews out there about this site.  Women professing it is great for delivering their fake wedding dresses on time etc.  The truth about DHGate.com is the sellers do not have to ship you any product and you will not have any recourse.  DHGate puts up a front that there is “Buyer Protection” for purchasers.  Let me be clear:  There is NO buyer protection on DHGate.com.  Not even an easy method to begin a dispute when some kid in China steals your money without shipping any product.

Additionally DHGate has been linked to many, many identity theft cases and obviously fraud investigations not even including the counterfeit goods investigations.  Sure, people expect to buy cheap copies on a site like DHGate.  But they have a more prolific problem with very many of their “sellers” simply stealing without ever shipping any product.  As a buyer on DHGate you will have little or no protection from this.  Ebay may have gone to far with buyer protections and revenue grabs from sellers but DHGate.com is a website full of nothing but counterfeiters, scam sellers and rip off artists.

I just hope this post makes it beyond all the bullshit DHGate has paid for in search rankings and reviews.  It is my hope they lose all buyers so their thieves will not succeed in stealing any more identities or money from honest people.  To date the only accurate reviews I’ve found of DHGate on-line come from Yelp where they’ve harnessed one full star.  Stay away from this den of thieves.
