Dear “President” Bush,

48% of American voters hated the previous four years enough to vote against you. Another 1% hated you enough to vote for Nader. Ya, you’re a genuine “uniter”. Over the next four years please try not to embarrass this country any more than you already have. “And that’s all I have to say about that.” – Forest Gump

I guess a lot of people thought that he was the best for job as he received more popular votes than any president in the history of US. Also, this is the first time that a president received a majority of the electoral votes (which I think stink) and the majority of the popular vote. I guess people were more interested in small things like “morals” and the security of this country for our children. And, that is all I have to say about that!

They both received more votes than any candidates in history. Thats the nature of a record number of voters. It was not however a record turnout in percentage of all registered voters (hasnt been since 1962 over 70 percent). I know I dont feel safer under Bush. There is more anti-US sentiment in smallest villages of Korea, Iran, and Saudi Arabia than there ever was in all of Iraq. And each poses a greater threat. But what – no invasion in the name of spreading democracy? I guess theres no “actionable intelligence”. Translation: We dont know what were going to do about the real bad guys. And besides – theyre selling us oil.

I guess it takes great morals to jeopardize the safety of America for solid energy relationships. Great morals spread our troops so thin we cant defend our beaches much less plan anything involving action against Irans nuclear program. And it took a bucket of morals to fly all of Osam Bin Ladens family home to Saudi Arabia hours after 911 with a Presidential international flight exception. Or we can talk about the morals it takes to attack a country that poses no threat according to international arms inspectors and proceed to kill thousands of civilians. Sounds christian to me.

But forget all that. Im sure a vote for Bush felt good because theres no need to ponder the all the bad in the world when hes going to make sure gay people cant get married. In our current situation I can see where that is the most important thing to worry about. Last time I checked GOP does not spell GOD.

Hi — We’re trying to figure out what’s really going on with that weird story about anarchists vandalized the Raleigh GOP headquarters. Seems like you guys, being local, might have some insight. See above for the link, or mail me. Thanks for any help you can give!

Why would have any information about these attacks that is not available to the general public? If I had any such information you would have to get it from local authorities.
